SatNav Africa Joint Programme Office (JPO), the Pan-African instrument supporting satellite navigation development in Africa, in conjunction with Cabo Verde Civil Aviation Agency (AAC) is organizing a high-level workshop on ''The Implementation and use of Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) Services in Africa” which will be held in person from 16th – 17th February 2023 in Praia, Cape Verde.

COUNTDOWN HAS STARTED

Further to the “save the date” announcement, the countdown for the upcoming 2^nd Outreach event on SBAS adoption in aviation in Africa has started!

This event, organised by the SatNav Africa Joint Programme Office (JPO) in collaboration with the ANGA programme and Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) in conjunction with Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), will be held on 2^nd and 3^rd February 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria. The event will also welcome the EU Global Action on Space, an initiative by the European Commission.
